Sustainable Life

As a conscientious human and artist, I strive to be in consistent critique about my art practice and lifestyle. Production in many forms, can be harmful to our precious earth. I reflect regularly on ways to minimize harm to the environment, so any objects or art works shipped or delivered to you, will be wrapped and packaged in biodegradable and recycled materials. It is my diligence to advocate for change to protect and care for the youth of tomorrow.

Where sustainability and art meet in delicious opportunity, is when up cycling and recycled materials and mediums, become an integral part of another work of art. Artists who utilize found materials and objects to construct dynamic art, have an under-appreciated super power.

I am fascinated by antiques, used books, trinkets, Knick-knacks, lost treasures, and collectables. And they often surface in my art, and installation work. A little bit of effort, a lot of ingenuity, and some creativity can keep many valuable one of a kind items out of landfills. I regard eclectic items with curious fascination and I try to harness that item’s potential energy, in imaginative ways that you could call “Trash Magic.” With creativity, perseverance and hard work, anything can be turned into a dynamic work of art.

With blessed thoughts, may your creativity flourish
