My journey into the world of handcrafted and homemade body care began in 2018 when a close friend was having severe reactions to every over-the-counter product and lotion given to her to treat severely dry skin. Seeing her daily struggle and her discomfort in her body, and her lack of confidence in her appearance as a result of redness. I took it on as my mission to try and create a personalized plant based oil and butter blend that could help to support her and alleviate her discomfort. After a little trial and error, and lots of research, I created my first homemade self-care product, Infused Cocoa Butter Wafers. After several uses her skin began to heal itself, and after years of dealing with eczema and irritation she began feeling confident again.

That day I realized that I could help others to work on bettering their relationship with self-care and as a result.. Apothecary Grove was born.
